Allan McGregor (left) was sent off against Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor has been banned for two European matches after his sending off against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
McGregor, 25, was dismissed for violent conduct after an off the ball incident in last Thursday' 4-0 Uefa Cup victory at Ibrox.
He had accused Luciano de Bravo of cheating after the pair clashed following Rangers' third goal.
Rangers chief executive Martin Bain said the club would appeal Uefa's ban.
Uefa upheld the decision by referee Mateo Trefeloni to send McGregor off.

The goalkeeper had accused Bravo of "faking injury" as his team were heading out of the Uefa Cup.
Rangers said they were "extremely disappointed" at Uefa's decision and Bain confirmed the Ibrox club would launch an appeal within three days.
"On receiving notification of Allan's two-match ban our immediate reaction was to appeal," said Bain.
McGregor faces missing the Uefa Cup games against Osasuna on 8 and 14 March, as the Glasgow side attempt to progress to the quarter finals of the competition.
