Partick Thistle 0-1 Dundee (original) (raw)
Matt Lockwood's 90th-minute penalty gave Dundee a 1-0 win over Partick Thistle at Firhill on the opening day of the First Division season.
Thistle's Aaron Sinclair had an effort blocked and Scott Robertson's superb drive was narrowly past the Dundee goal in a match of few chances.
Alan Archibald was adjudged to have felled substitute Nicholas Riley to give Dundee their spot-kick.
And Lockwood coolly slotted home from 12 yards to claim all three points.
