Rangers are the current Scottish Cup holders

Celtic will face Premier League rivals Motherwell or St Mirren in the sixth round of the Homecoming Scottish Cup.

The trophy holders Rangers will be at home to Hamilton Accies, if the Ibrox side overcome Second Division Forfar in their rescheduled tie next week.

Inverness Caley Thistle will host Falkirk for a place in the semi-finals.

And the final tie of the last eight will see Airdrie United or Dunfermline Athletic take on the winners of the postponed Aberdeen v East Fife tie.

While three of the fifth-round ties fell victim to the weather at the weekend, Motherwell and St Mirren fought out a 1-1 draw at Fir Park.

Celtic edged a narrow 2-1 win at home to Glasgow rivals Queen's Park and Hamilton recovered from a goal down to knock Dundee United out in a 2-1 win at New Douglas Park.

Elsewhere, Falkirk's Steve Lovell headed in the only goal against Hearts at Tynecastle to put John Hughes' side into the last eight.

Rangers hit out at the Scottish Football Association for not postponing their Scottish Cup tie at Forfar sooner.

Chief executive Martin Bain said his club's fans were inconvenienced after the postponement, just over three hours prior to the 1215 GMT kick-off on Sunday.

Homecoming Scottish Cup sixth round draw:

Motherwell or St Mirren v Celtic
Airdrie Utd or Dunfermline Athletic v Aberdeen or East Fife
Inverness CT v Falkirk
Forfar Athletic or Rangers v Hamilton Accies

Ties to be played on the weekend of 7 March.
