Pearson has not started a game this season Stephen Pearson says he will have to consider his Celtic future if he is not getting a regular game by January. The 23-year-old midfielder, signed from Motherwell in January 2004, has battled back from several injuries but has not started a single match this season. He said: "I just need to keep knuckling down and hope I get the nod. I have two-and-a-half years left. Of course I will look to go if I am not playing."At my age I need to be playing. I will look at the situation in January." Pearson, who has won six caps for Scotland, has scored once from four appearances as a substitute this term.He added: "I've missed a lot of football over the last year so I want to get back playing sooner rather than later."
