Campbell spent six years at Goodison
West Brom have finalised the signing of veteran striker Kevin Campbell.
The 34-year-old, who has left Everton after six years on a free transfer, has signed an 18-month contract.
Robson told the Albion website: "I'm delighted to have him on board. He's got vast experience and Premiership know-how - I think he'll be a success."
"He's up for trying to keep us in the Premiership and if we get relegated he is willing to stay and try and help us get promoted," Robson added.
One of Everton's highest-paid players on more than �35,000 a week, Campbell had six months left on his Toffees contract.
But the signing of James Beattie, and the blossoming form of young reserve Nick Chadwick meant Everton were happy to allow him to leave early.
Campbell started his career with Arsenal, where he won the championship 13 years ago, before joining Nottingham Forest in 1997.
He moved to Everton for �3m in January 1999 from Turkish side Trabzonspor after a successful loan spell, and went on to be captain at Goodison.
