Leeds have completed the signing of West Brom midfielder Sean Gregan.

Leeds will pay 500,000 up front plus 250,000 dependent on appearances, and another 250,000 if the Yorkshire club win promotion back to the Premiership.

"Sean is a great player and will be a great asset to us in terms of leadership," said boss Kevin Blackwell.

The Leeds manager has has been chasing the former Baggies skipper since the start of August but had two bids rejected by Albion.

West Brom boss Gary Megson said: "He is joining a fantastic football club.

"He played a huge part in this club winning promotion to the Premiership and was one of the main reasons we did as well as we did towards the end of last season."
