Chadwick has swapped Burnley's claret and blue for West Ham
West Ham have completed the signing of midfielder Luke Chadwick on a free transfer from Manchester United.
The 23-year-old passed a medical on Monday and Hammers boss Alan Pardew is excited by the prospect of Chadwick playing in The Championship.
"I am delighted to have signed a player with great potential and I expect him to become an important and exciting member of our squad," said Pardew.
"He is a player the fans will enjoy watching," he told the club's website.
Hammers boss Alan Pardew took Chadwick on a loan spell while he was manager at Reading, and he spent last season on loan at Burnley.
Chadwick's arrival could pave the way for cash-strapped Hammers to sell midfielder Michael Carrick.
