Santos has managed Porto

Former PAOK Salonika and Porto coach Fernando Santos has been named as the new coach of Greece, succeeding German Otto Rehhagel.

Rehhagel's contract expired following Greece's World Cup first-round exit in South Africa last week.

"Santos will be the new coach of the national team for the next two years," said the Hellenic Football Federation.

The 55-year-old from Portugal is to be officially presented at a news conference on Friday.
