Alderman F. ROIBERTSON, who last
week was elected Mayor of Dundas. He
has been a member of Dundas Council
for the last twelve years, and was for
merly an alderman of Granville.
Apart from his own experience as an
alderman, the new Mayor made a study
of local government in England not long
before the war, and the knowledge he
thus gained should be of great assistance
to him as the chief citizen of the muni
His colleagues have assured him of
their wholehearted support. The
Mayoral allowance was fixed at £60.
Alderman E. A. Mobbs, a former
Mayor, was elected deputy-Mayor.
Alderman Robertson was prominent in
patriotic work at Granville during the
last war. He also took an active part in
church work in that town.
