of the State of New South Wales and

|ta Dependencies, in the Commonwealth

WHEREAS the Local Government Extension Act, 1906»

provides that the same shall, except where otherwise in

the Act provided, commence and como into operai ion on a day

within six months from its passing, to be proclaimed by the

Governor: Now, therefore, I, Sir Hakry Holdsworth

Rawson, the Governor aforesaid, in pursuance of the provisions

of the paid Local Government Extension Act, 1906, and with

the advice of the Executive Council, do, by this my Proclama

tion, declare that the said Act shall commence and come into

operation 0u he thirtj-first day of December, 1906.

Given under my Hand and the Seal of the Htate, this

twenty-eighth day of December, in the year of our

Lord one thousand nine hundred and six, and in the

sixth year of His Majesty's Reign.
