Yesterday, at St. James's Church, by the Rev.

Richard Hill, Edward Denney Day, Esq., of His

Majesty's 62d Regiment; Police Magistrate, Vale of

Clwyd, to Margaret, daughter of James Raymond,

Esq., Postmaster General.

On Monday last, by the Rev. J. McGarvie, Capt.

John Smith Papps, late of the Wolfe, to Sarah, third

daughter of Mr. Ikin, of Cumberland-street.

On Monday evening last, at the residence of

Mrs. Hitchcock, Pitt-street, Sydney, by the Rev.

Dr. Lang, Mr. Thomas Strode, of the Sydney

Herald Office, to Miss Hitchcock, of Pitt-street.

On Wednesday morning, the 18th instant, at

William and Adelaide Place, Mr. Robert Dorward,

aged 48 years, much and deservedly respected by
