For many people, the phrase “Dave and Buster’s” immediately conjures memories of the classic episode of “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” called “The Great Recession,” in which Mac and Dennis heap praise on not only D&B’s steaks, but the company’s business savvy.

Woburn residents who live on or near Misawum Road will soon cease to think of Dave and Buster’s as “that restaurant from that one ‘It’s Always Sunny’ episode” and begin to think of it as “that place down the street.”

Earlier this month, the national family restaurant chain announced its intentions to cut the ribbon on a new Woburn location on May 26.

The eatery’s menu specializes in American-style fare, and the establishment is said to include a 360 degree sports bar for optimal “big game” viewing. Most importantly - it will contain a 170-game arcade.
