100 Pages?

Looks like we are almost to the 100th Page of Peppermint Saga. This week marks page 98, so in 2 weeks, we shall have met a pretty significant milestone. Sadly, I’ve been working on this thing since 2007. I feel like I should have been a lot farther. But, life priorities and all that. Those that have been here since the start, you have my eternal gratitude. We passed the 10th Anniversary not that long ago (September 8, if I am not mistaken), and there was no time for fanfare. This series is pretty great. But it seems the zany antics of BGR and the über “kawaiiness” of Ship in a Bottle prevails at the end of the day. Looks like I’ll be doing updates here on Tuesdays for a while. I still have a backlog of pages that were completed late last year that need colors, so as soon as I am done with Frilly Pink’s page for this week, I’ll get on that so we have no further interruptions.

Long time no see! I’m working on fixing that little problem. Did you know that Pink Panties Productions (the label I operate my whole smut empire under) has a Patreon page? That’s a big no shit, sir! It’s right here! For a while now, I’ve resisted putting up the link here because I didn’t want to attract attention away from Ship in a Bottle. But now I want ALL of my comics updating, DAMMIT! And that means additional sacrifices must be made. With that in mind, I am hiring an artist to draw the pages, which I will color. *IF* we get HIGH enough into the stratosphere… I will ALSO bring in Fallon again to COLOr said new artist’s pages to ensure quality. But for the short term, I will be coloring those pages.

Anyway, that’s the big news. Artist is selected, and I will float the first month of updates on my credit card, but after that, I very much need your support. The GOOD news is, I only need to nudge the bar another 100tokeepthingsrollingonthePatreon.Wecurrentlysitatabout100 to keep things rolling on the Patreon. We currently sit at about 100tokeepthingsrollingonthePatreon.Wecurrentlysitatabout399 and we only need $500 total to add Peppermint Saga to the mix permanently. Not Exemplary!

There won’t be an update this week. I was highly focused on getting Kawaii Neko Daigaku and the accompanying Patreon under sail, and being a one-man operation when it comes to setup, it took a lot out of me. But not to worry! We’ll be back next week at our regularly scheduled time. Naturally, if you feed the Patreon, I can always be persuaded to change my priorities. ;3

A New Week Begins!

With the dual updates over at Ship in a Bottle, and it’s meteoric rise in the charts, it seems these days that has become my new headquarters. However, Peppermint Saga is never far from my thoughts as this is the series that started me down this path of being a distributor of erotic materials. I will most likely be quiet except for updates as we have quite a few rewards to distribute this month. UncolaMan purchased the “!0 Pages With Peppermint” tier, which means that we have an extra BGR arc in the wings, as well as the regular updates. Plus, a delinquent commission, and we are still plugging away at episode 10 of BGR as drawn by Prettío. All-in-all, it’s going to be a very busy month.

Help us keep Ship in a Bottle at 2 updates per week, and if you want, help me pay my colorist over here while you’re at it. If we get to that third milestone, I will be obligated to update without fail. if that’s not incentive, I don’t know what is. 😉

Mace here, reminding you that, even though I seem to spend almost all of my time these days at Ship in a Bottle, this comic is not dead. how not dead is it, you ask? So not dead, I just hired a colorist to work with me on the revival of the series. That’s how “not dead” we are! I need to put more eyes on my Patreon and bring in more revenue to cover the cost of this. One thing that is NOT changing is that I am not stopping as artist. I’m still doing that. In many ways, this series is still my pride-and-joy, and as I said back in April, I still have no desire to redo any of what came before. Which is rare these days for me. I kept getting myself stuck and wanting a do-over. Peppermint Saga just makes sense. And now that BGR is becoming more and more successful, I need to get back on the horse and ride like the wind, because we are introducing characters and plotlines there that have callbacks to things we have YET TO DO here! So, keep an eye on this spot. Things are about to get going, and I mean QUICK.
