International Travel Support Pilot Program

The International Travel Support Pilot Program for Participants from Qualifying Countries for the 2025 annual meeting in Baltimore will fund the cost of international airfare between Baltimore and a Qualifying Country outside of Canada or the United States, as well as 4 nights of hotel accommodation at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel. Applications due October 15, 2024.

Pollitzer Student Travel Awards 2024

Are designed to help student members defray the costs of attending the AABA meetings. You do not need to be presenting at the meeting. Entries for awards for the 2025 annual meeting will be due on January 6, 2025.

Cobb Professional Development Grants

AABA recognizes that the professional development of talented scientists in the early stages of their careers is critical to the continued health and vitality of the discipline. Applications due January 6, 2025.

Student Liaison to the Executive Committee

Is tasked with increasing student participation, co-chairing the ad hoc student committee, bringing to the Executive committee issues of interest and concern to the student members and assisting the Career Development Committee and the Auction Committee in planning and implementation.

IDEAS Program

The IDEAS Program’s workshops provide a team, a space, and a suite of activities to engage issues of scholarship, professional preparation, and community building.
