Muir khaubur boul. = I am good (lit. My news is good)

Moy naza no. = I don’t know.

Muk buk lagasayh. = I am hungry.
Muir ru. = Me too.

Bhalka hooba. = Good night.

Moy tumalk ball pow. = I love you.

Tumi ke kori asa. = What are you doing?

Moi Akhomea porhe asa. = I am studying Assamese.
Moi katomon Akhomea hobdah zano. = I know a few Assamese words.

Lahe koa. = Speak slowly.
