PPEL Post Grad Path Event
Thinking about how to leverage your PPEL major as you pursue a career or graduate school? Please join us for a conversation with three PPEL alumni on Thursday, November 7th, from 4:45-6pm, in the Whitehurst Living Room.
Molly Brind’Amour (class of 2019) is a Policy Associate at the Environmental and Energy Study Institute where she works to grow and disseminate our climate policy knowledge. Prior to joining ESSI she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in Richmond, VA, and interned with the Container Recycling Institute. Molly earned a BA in PPEL and Journalism from the University of Richmond and a Master’s of Public Policy from the University of Virginia.
Ave Grosenheider (class of 2019) is a Business Finance Associate in the Richmond office of Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP, a 1000+ lawyer firm operating in 15 domestic and five international locations. She represents corporate borrowers and lenders in all aspects of commercial financing matters, including secured and unsecured revolving, bridge, and term loan facilities. Ave is committed to providing pro bono service throughout her community, including through representing pro bono clients in no-fault divorce cases. Ava earned a BA in PPEL and a J.D. from the University of Richmond.
Madelyn Lent (class of 2021) is a Policy Manager at the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Prior to joining the Department of Behavioral Health she was selected to serve as a Virginia Management Fellow, a collaboration between Virginia Tech’s School of Public and International Affairs and the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management that serves as Virginia’s management and leadership succession planning pipeline. Madelyn earned a BA in PPEL from the University of Richmond.
