The Vikings were short on draft picks last weekend, the result of their trade for a third first-rounder which they used on wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.

As a result, they have a few more spots to fill with other rookies, and agreed to deals with 16 of them Tuesday.

The list includes Iowa quarterback James Vandenberg, North Carolina wide receiver Erik Highsmith, Eastern Washington wide receiver Nicholas Edwards, N.C. State safety Brandan Bishop, UNLV running back Bradley Randle, Furman running back Jerodis Williams, Furman tight end Colin Anderson, SMU fullback Zach Line, Georgia Southern safety Darius Eubanks, Ohio State linebacker Nathan Williams, N.C. State center Camden Wentz, Portland State defensive end Marquis Jackson, Glenville State tackle Mark Jackson, Kentucky defensive end Collins Ukwu, Florida State defensive tackle Anthony McCloud and Florida State wide receiver Rodney Smith.
