Gran Turismo Delayed to 2006 - IGN (original) (raw)

You didn't really think it was coming this year, did you?

Shocking news today from Japan as Sony Computer Entertainment officially delayed the release of Gran Turismo 4 Mobile. The PSP entry in the series is now listed at the official Japanese PlayStation website with a release planned for some time in 2006, rather than the 2005 that's been listed all this time.

That's the only change we have to report today. The game's name is still listed as a working title, the genre is still listed as "Race & Car Life Simulation", Sony's still showing the concept trailer (based off the PS2 game) it's been showing since the game was first announced, and we still don't know anything about what final shape the game will take.

But, at least we know that a PSP Gran Turismo is still in development. Even if we won't get to play it until 2006.
