Sony Interactive Entertainment has released PS5 system update 23.01-07.01.01 for users to download.

Surprisingly enough this isn’t the usual PS5 firmware that improves system performance, but rather applies a single bug fix regarding the game library. You can check out the PS5 system update patch notes below via the PlayStation website.

An issue in Game Library where content was displayed incorrectly under certain conditions was resolved.

Sony launched the PS5 back in November 2020 and the console has shipped 32 million units worldwide. The console was hit by major shortages for its first two years or so on the market due to issues brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, but that has now ended and the console is now readily available to purchase.
