PEP 308 http://www.python.org/doc/peps/pep-0308/ says Python 2.5 will add a conditional expression. The Programming FAQ is as a result now wrong: http://www.python.org/doc/faq/programming/#is-there-an-equivalent-of-c-s-ternary-operator Also I do not see mention of this on the What's New page, especially http://www.python.org/dev/doc/devel/whatsnew/node5.html where it seems naturally to belong. | ||
