July 1, 2009 I liked Captian Rose, the Pirate Octopus and thought I’d make another one for AmiAmour to sell at this year’s Anime Expo.

The peg leg/tentacle is actually a champagne cork. The main body is stuffed with polyfil and the other seven tentacles with polypellets in a nylon sack so that they don’t fall out between the holes in the crochet. Everything else is yarn. It took forever to put all the pieces together, but I really like the end result. Though he still needs a name. Any thoughts?
