Indian Girls Code, an initiative by Robotix, is a free hands-on coding and robotics education programme for underprivileged girls.
The first Indian Girls Code initiative is at an all girls orphanage Annai Ashram in Trichy, Tamil Nadu India, an ongoing programme teaching 75 girls coding and robotics completely "free”.
Niti Aayog Govt of India and UNESCO have accorded recognition to this IGC initiative.
Aditi Prasad COO was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at UNESCO's Policy Forum Cracking the Code : Girls' Education in STEM, held in Bangkok in August 2017.
TEDx Chennai India at its March 2018 event invited Aditi Prasad to talk on the Indian Girls Code initiative.
Aditi Prasad was also honoured by Govt of Singapore in Sep’ 2017 to be one amongst 15 Young Societal leaders selected from around the World for a global leadership event.
Amongst other initiatives, Robotix have also partnered with Ford Motor Co., CISCO Systems & Amazon, to extend STEM, Robotics & Coding to more underprivileged girls.
