Hello,

I've run into the same (supposedly corrected) issue as several previous reporters describe:

./nmap 172.29.79.2

Starting Nmap 6.02 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-08-22 18:53 EDT route_dst_netlink: can't find interface "eth0"

./nmap --iflist

Starting Nmap 6.02 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-08-22 19:10 EDT INTERFACES: NONE FOUND(!) ROUTES: NONE FOUND(!)

Works ok if run non-root. Fails with root and --unprivileged.

Just built this from SVN 29648.

Nmap 5.51.6 works perfectly either way.

No radio drivers, but I have a fully functional IPv6 setup, multiple interfaces, two LANs and one IB link. Also have a a few OSPF routes created by Quagga.

Running CentOS 5.8 with fairly recent 'yum' update. Version details if desired.

Network nitty-gritty attached.
