.

The creation, success, survival and effective development of new businesses and ventures depend on several factors of emerging importance, in addition to those traditionally studied in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. The internal and external decision-making processes, the social and environmental concerns, the entrepreneurial ecosystems (i.e. networks of entities – such as universities, public bodies, private research labs, investors, etc.), the availability of financial instruments and the changing financial environment deeply affect entrepreneurship and innovation development.

The summer school in sustainable entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurial finance intends to address these issues and its main aim is to develop an ongoing and constructive dialogue among senior, young and aspiring entrepreneurship, innovation, and finance scholars to conduct research relevant to entrepreneurship theory and practice in the contemporary world.

Students and early career researchers will have the opportunity to develop their research by connecting with internationally renowned scholars in the field, in an interdisciplinary, international and stimulating setting.

The school includes:

– lectures and seminars on emerging research areas;

– paper development sessions;

– roundtable with practitioners to discuss the implication of scholarly work;

– informal mentoring and networking opportunities.
