Hello Transputer fans! This is a site for the PC transputer emulator.

What's happening...

November 2024 - Release of the PC based T414 Transputer emulator (jserver version 6.0). Added E register emulation. Updates to endp and taltwt instructions based on further VBC analysis. Minor bug fixes to scheduler functions and /SG switch option.

What can be found on this website?

On this website you will find various Inmos Transputer emulators for PC (and macOS) which have been developed over the past 18 years.

The five flagship emulators available are:

- Jserver emulator (a combined Inmos T414/T400/T425/T800/T805 Transputer emulator and Inmos iserver interface)

- T425 VBC emulator (a combined Inmos Transputer T425 Rev. C VBC emulator and Inmos iserver interface)

- T805 VBC emulator (a combined Inmos Transputer T805 Rev. D VBC emulator and Inmos iserver interface)

- T414 VBC emulator (a combined Inmos Transputer T414 Rev. B VBC emulator and Inmos iserver interface)

- T800 VBC emulator (a combined Inmos Transputer T800 Rev. D VBC emulator and Inmos iserver interface)

Other emulators available (mostly now retired and unsupported) are:

- 3L afserver emulator (a combined Inmos T414/T400/T425/T800 Transputer emulator and 3L afserver interface)

- Portakit emulator (an early Inmos Transputer simulator used to run the Occam compiler on cross platforms)

- S42 emulator (an early prototype pre-Transputer device)

Other tools available (now retired and unsupported) are:

- S42 VBC Reader (VBC compiler used for on early prototype pre-Transputer device)
