Great news everyone! The Steam store page for SpaceEngine is now live! Follow the link to check it out and add it to your wishlist.

SpaceEngine 0.990 is not available for purchase yet, but launch day is fast approaching. Now that the store page is published, it means we can release the program to you in as soon as 2 weeks. That is our goal, and it is achievable if nothing unexpected happens. As soon as we have a confirmed release date, we will share it with you.

We're very excited about bringing 0.990 development to a close and releasing it to the public! Of course, this is not the end for SpaceEngine development, but a wonderful new beginning - by releasing on Steam, we can update the program very easily, so updates should be released on a regular basis from now on. The additional funds from Steam sales will also allow us to greatly accelerate development by hiring additional programmers, purchasing high-quality art assets, buying additional hardware for testing, and so on.

HarbingerDawn will be doing a few livestreams on Youtube between now and release, so feel free to join the stream chats and ask any questions you might have about SE. We look forward to releasing this new version of SpaceEngine to you in the near future! Stay tuned for more news.
