SpliX is a great driver, but DO NOT TRY TO USE THE SUGGESTED 2.0.0 VERSION, it is SEVERELY outdated. The SourceForge SVN is outdated as well, so if you need a fresh version with applied patches you better clone my GIT repo at Gitlab: gitlab.com/ScumCoder/splix
Awesome - but DO make sure that you fetch and build the patched version of the code from SVN (click on 'CODE' above), as splix-2.0.0.tar.bz2 from the download link is missing several new printer models and valuable patches that the developers have added since 2009 !!
You guys rock ! SCX-3200 is finally working while it was not possible to get to work with the ugly samsung unified totally garbage driver package !
Thanks for this! Works great. Now I don't have to buy a new printer just because Samsung does not update their drivers. Shame on you, Samsung.
Works perfectly with Xerox Phaser 3122, except for the resolution adjustment. It works with 600dpi by default (works perfectly), but when I try to reduce it to 300 it fails and doesn't print anything! Other advanced functions, like printing multiple pages on one page, also work perfectly! Started using it since Ojuba2/Fedora9, and I still use it till now! :-) Read more reviews >
