Mission Statement
Saint Joseph's Mission Statement:
St. Joseph the Provider Catholic School is an in-city center of learning serving families in Youngstown, Ohio and the surrounding area. We are committed to providing an inclusive moral, spiritual and academic atmosphere where learning takes place in a safe and caring environment. By fostering positive relationships with our parents and community, we empower them to support their child’s efforts to live lives based on the tradition of the Church and the gospel mandate of love through service.

St. Joseph the Provider School has 146 students in grade K-8 as of October 31, 2024.
Background Check Statement
Saint Joseph's Background Check Statement:
School Policy for Background checks for teaching and non-teaching volunteers and volunteers with direct contact with students. Administrators, teachers, and teacher aides who hold a renewable license from the State of Ohio must submit a BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) and an FBI check for the initial license application. FBI checks must always be current within five years. All school employees not holding a State of Ohio license as well as all preschool employees must always provide to the school a hard copy of both a BCI and an FBI background check current within five years.
