A Record 48 TASIS Students Earn AP Scholar Awards
TASIS students took 339 Advanced Placement exams this spring and scored a 4 or higher on 49 percent of them. The 48 AP Scholar Awards establishes a new school record.
TASIS IB Scores Remain More Than Three Points Above World Average
TASIS IB Diploma candidates earned a 100 percent pass rate for the third straight year, with 40 students producing an average score of 33.5 that outpaced the global average by 3.3 points.

From its founding in 1956 to her passing in 2009, M. Crist Fleming cited TASIS as the fulfillment of her dreams and encouraged students to follow their own—to dream big enough and bold enough to lead a life of consequence and make the world "a better place in small and large ways for all the humans who inhabit it."

TASIS pioneered the concept of academic travel. Since 1956, our students have been exploring Europe, once via a fleet of VW vans and nowadays via planes, trains, and buses. Course content comes alive as students become confident, curious travelers.

Service Learning is an important part of a TASIS education. Elementary and Middle School students learn about the benefits of serving others, while our High School students participate in our Global Service Program, where students experience firsthand the impact of serving others around the world.
