Warning: Symfony 2.1 is no longer supported. Consider upgrading your applications to the most recent Symfony version.

I'm very happy to announce the immediate availability of Symfony 2.1.0.

Since the release of Symfony 2.0, the Symfony community has been hard at work. We've merged more than 1,100 pull requests for Symfony 2.1 (3,500+ commits), and more than 6,000 unit tests have been added. The documentation has also improved a lot and more than 3,000 new lines of documentation have been added.

Symfony2 has been used in production on very large websites for more than 2 years now, and the new Symfony 2.1 brings even more stability and nice features.

If you have not tried to upgrade yet, first read theUPGRADEfile that comes with Symfony Standard Edition, then theUPGRADE file that comes with Symfony.

After upgrading, run the web/config.php script from your browser and theapp/check.php script from the CLI to check if your PHP environment is setup properly.
