Marie Christine Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 13 May 1742 at Vienna, AustriaG.2 She was the daughter of Franz I Stefan de Lorraine, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Theresia Amalia Walburga Erzherzogin von Österreich.4,2,1 She married Albrecht Casimir August Herzog von Sachsen-Teschen, son of Friedrich August II von Sachsen, King of Poland and Maria Josepha Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 8 April 1766 at Vienna, AustriaG.2 She died on 24 June 1798 at age 56 at Vienna, AustriaG.2
She was given the name of Marie Christine Johanna Josephe Antonie at birth.2 She held the office of Joint Viceroy of Hungary.2 Joint Stadtholder of the Netherlands.2

Franz I Stefan de Lorraine, Holy Roman Emperor was born on 8 December 1708 at Lunéville, Lorraine, FranceG.4 He was the son of Léopold Joseph Charles, Duc de Lorraine and Elisabeth Charlotte d'Orléans.5 He married Maria Theresia Amalia Walburga Erzherzogin von Österreich, daughter of Karl VI von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Elisabeth Christine Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 12 February 1736 at Vienna, AustriaG.4 He died on 18 August 1765 at age 56 at Innsbruck, AustriaG, suddenly.4 He was buried at Capuchin Church, Vienna, AustriaG.4
He was created 1st Herzog von Teschen on 12 May 1722.4 He succeeded as the Duc François III de Bar on 27 March 1729.4 He succeeded as the Duc François III de Lorraine on 27 March 1729.6,4 He gained the title of Viceroy of Hungary in 1732.4 He resigned as Duke of Lorraine and Bar on 11 April 1736.4 He gained the title of Granduca di Toscana in 1737.6 After his marriage, Franz I Stefan de Lorraine, Holy Roman Emperor was styled as Erzherzog von Österreich in 1740.7 He succeeded as the Emperor Francis I of the Holy Roman Empire on 13 September 1745.6,4 He was crowned Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire on 4 October 1745 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, GermanyG.4

He married, secondly, Maria Theresia Erzherzogin von Österreich, daughter of Leopold II von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Luisa de Borbón, Infanta de España, on 18 October 1787 at Dresden, Sachsen, GermanyG.3 He married Maria Theresia Erzherzogin von Österreich, daughter of Leopold II von Österreich, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Luisa de Borbón, Infanta de España, on 8 September 1787 at Florence, ItalyG, in a proxy marriage.3 He died on 6 June 1836 at age 80 at Pillnitz, GermanyG.3
He was a member of the House of Wettin.4 He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen. He succeeded as the König von Sachsen in 1827.1
