Was rejected from both UC Berkeley and UCLA. That means I will be attending San Francisco State this fall. My friend looked at me like my face was on fire when I said I was turning down UC Davis for SF State. LMAO
One more month and I'll finally be done with community college!
What the hell, UCLA? Are you trying to make me cry?!
Didn't realize that it had been so long since I last posted. It's even been a while since I've logged in. -_- Been spending most of my time focusing on school with the rest of my time obsessing over college admissions. Since I last posted, I got into San Diego State but I'll stick to SF State. UC admission decisions come out this month, Davis by the end of next week (hopefully), UCLA in the next 1-2 weeks and Berkeley on the 30th. This is a very anxiety filled month.
I'll be graduating again this May, this time with an AA in Social Science. It feels weird knowing that this is my last semester at Chabot. It's become like my second home over the four years that I've been there. But I am glad to finally be leaving. I've been there long enough and it's really time to go.
In other news, NEW DOCTOR WHO IN ONE WEEK! It's early this year. ^_^
Edit: UC Davis admissions were just released and I've been admitted!!! To bad I don't really want to go there. The location is pretty sucky.
Quick hits:
- I got a 4.0 for fall semester!
- Still no job.
- Currently working on application updates for the UC's and for San Diego State.
- Went to my first anime con this past weekend. Fangirls are crazy.
- Managed to read through some of my manga and trades backlog. Still haven't read any Birds of Prey.
- Dance Dance Revolution is extremely addicting.
So here's the list of all the schools I ended up applying to. I didn't submit my UC app until 5 minutes before the deadline and I didn't have time to go back and check to see if I did everything right. >_< My target school is San Francisco State if I don't get into a UC. And yay for fee waivers because I wouldn't have been able to afford to apply to all thses schools.

So my job is now over and I'm officially unemployed. :( The job search starts monday.
Hello! Time for my monthly update! :)
School is really kicking my ass right now. Sleep is starting to become a distant memory. I have a paper due at 10:30 today and I haven't even started it yet. The thought of my econ test tommorrow terrifies me.
My job ends on November 2nd and I'm not having any luck in finding something else before then.
College application season has finally started and I'm pretty stressed. I've already applied to San Jose State, San Francisco State, San Diego State, and CSU Chico. I should be able to get in these with no problem except San Diego because it's a bit more selective (it's also impacted like whoa). I'll be applying to UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, And UC Santa Barbara in November. I'm being told that I will most likely be rejected from Berkeley and UCLA before they even look at my whole application because my gpa is low. -_- So my target school for now is UCSB.
That's it for now. See you guys next month! (Actually, I hope to post before then but...whatever)
Where did all my free time go? :(
I seem to be coming down with a cold.
What possessed me to take 5 reading and writing intensive course?
I hate going to Anthropology class. Not because I don't like the class but because I don't like some of the poeple. Freshmen... *rolls eyes*
Application season starts soon and I haven't started my personal statements yet!
Torchwood starts tomorrow!
This thread over at Soompi amuses me and not in a good way. It's a shame that what people are focusing on right now is the fact the that the shooter was Korean (or Asian in general) when the real topic should be about the 30+ people who were killed and the 20+ injured. That being said, I can totally understand where that would be a big deal. After all, Americans have been known to lash out at an entire ethnic group just because one person (or a group of people) did something terrifyingly stupid (internments of the Japanese during WWII, the burning of Korean businesses during the LA riots, discrimination against Middle Easterners after 9/11). But does his race really matter. I mean, no one was hunting down white people after the columbine shootings.
Electro-shock collars for stupid people? Best law ever.
