OVEN'S AND MURRAY LEAGUE.
At a meeting of the Ovens and Murray
League, held a Wangaratta on
Monday, the delegates of the Hume
Weir Club notified the meeting that
their club intended to remain in the
competition and that the club would
use the Wodonga recreation reserve,
which, would be brought up to the
required standard of the league. Mr. G.
A. Gray, the president, presided.
A life member's medallion was
presented to Mr. Sambell, ex-president of
Mr. Sambell reported upon the
conference with V.F.L. He stated that
a further conference would be held in
July for the purpose of defining boundaries
and appointing delegates for
No applications for permits were
received from the Beechworth or Corowa
clubs, and it was decided that these
and other late ones would be attended
to by the president and secretary be

DONNELLY WITH ST. PATRICK'S.
Gerald Donnelly, who captained and
coached North Melbourne last year, has
taken a position with West's Motors,
Albury, as a motor salesman. He will
play with the St. Patrick's team in
the O. and M. Competition this season.
In 1924 he played in the colours of
the Hunter F.C., Adelaide, and in 1925
he transferred to Victoria, and repre
sented the State in inter-state football
while in the colours of the Melbourne
