Mr Samuel Mitchell M. L. C.

His Excellency the Administrator has ac-

cepted the resignation of Mr. Samuel Mit-

chell, who had been returned a member of

the Legislative council for the district of

Geraldton, but who had not the opportu-

nity of being sworn in, or attending a sit-

ting of the Council. A fresh writ for the

election of a member has been issued.
