"DEIGHTON selectors did not hesitate to include Ron Hall in
their team last night when it was learned that he had re-
ceived a clearance from Melbourne.
Hall appeared before the VFA per-
mit and umpire committee on Wed-
nesday night and received a pro-
visional permit to play with
Brighton. That was granted only
on condition that Melbourne gave
Hall his clearance last night. Mel-
bourne officiais had promised that

Brighton's defence has been the
