ing the servant of the Avon Brewery
Co., he stole £92 13s 4d. the pro
perty of the Avon Brewery Co.' '
Parker was given a post as reliev
ing barman at the Kalamunda Hotel
and later was appointed by the Avon
Brewery Co. to the position of. reliev-
ing mnager at the Burracoppin Hotel.
Subsequently he was made the man
ager of the Victoria Hotel at Toodyay.
Some discrepancy occurred in the
hotel's receipts after a time and the
firm's accountant discovered that
Parker had failed to -bank £51.
Inquiries revealed that Parker had
left the hotel on July 16. with all his
belongings. When the books were audi
ted, it was found that more than £90
