Health Services
All traditional students at the University of Mount Olive are eligible to use the services of the Health Center. All visits are confidential and staffed by a licensed registered nurse.

Scope of Services
What We Do
- Arrange for physicals or hospital referrals as warranted
- Over-the-counter medications available at no cost to students
- Follow-up wound care
- Monitor chronic conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure
- Health education
- Lab testing including pregnancy and strep infection
- First aid
What We Don't Do
- Allergy shots
- Write prescriptions
Immunization Requirements
Physical Form: Students taking four or more credit hours are asked to submit a physical form dated within one year of attendance, signed by a physician or advanced practice professional. This is a recommendation for non-athletes — student athletes are required to submit a physical and should contact their athletic trainer for specific requirements. Submit your physical form by mail using the green Health Services envelope from your admission package, or fax to 919-635-3778.
