Joseph gets a special surprise for his birthday.

Looking for his keys took longer than usual. Joseph rested his head against the solid door as he unlocked his apartment. It was still relatively early, not even midnight and yet he was home. Alone. The simple cake from his co-workers was much appreciated but he wound up giving it to some passing children on his way out of the school. The quiet dinner with his family was pleasant. But something was missing. Someone, rather.

Joseph let out a long breath as he pushed his door open. His phone buzzed. His keys dropped to the floor as he quickly pulled his phone out of his pocket to see if it was who he had been waiting for all day. It wasn't. A text from a distant cousin greeting him Happy Birthday. He typed out a quick reply before picking up his keys and locking his door.

Why had he even expected anything? It was a no strings attached kind of relationship. Literally touch and go. Joseph stared at his phone. Maybe he should call? Or text? Just check up on him, hear his voice.

"You idiot." Joseph chastised himself, pinching the bridge of his nose. Just as he threw his keys on the nearby kitchen table his phone stared buzzing. Call incoming. He checked to see who it was...J.B. He exhaled shakily as a stupid grin spread on his face.

"Hello?" he said trying not to show how excited he was.

"You free?" Came the smoky drawl from the other end of the line.

"Yeah...do you know what today is?"

There was a short chuckle "Friday."

It was like something had stabbed Joseph's chest "Yeah..." he said trying to recover "Just checking because...I get busy...loose track of the days..."

There was a pause from the other end "Come to bed."

"The apartment?"

There was that arrogant chuckle again "Your bed."

Before Joseph could ask what the hell was going the person on the other end hung up leaving him confused with the dial tone.

"My..." he muttered to himself, looking up into his dark apartment. It was only then that he noticed the tiny sliver of light that came out from under his door. He had to stop himself from running to his room and throwing the door open. He made his way across the dark living room and paused in front of his bedroom door. His heart was racing, the blood in his veins seemed to be on fire. He took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Holy sh..." He said laughing a little as he starred at the man on his bed.

Jack.

Jack Benjamin was sprawled on his bed decked out in a leather ensemble of black boots, a peaked cap perched crookedly on his head, and bands around his wrists. And he wore his dark aviator sunglasses, of course.

"Happy birthday." he smirked. His gravely drawl sending shivers down Joseph's spine.

"Please tell me that there's some sort of material separating...that..." Joseph said gesturing to the small round birthday cake perched on Jack's hips with a solitary candle was lit just above his groin area. He tried to keep his knees from buckling, or simply running at Jack and pushing him down on the bed.

Jack let out a chuckle "Come closer and find out."

Joseph bit his lip and made his way over to his bed as Jack watched him behind his dark glasses.

"Go on...blow..." Jack said slowly as Joseph stood over him.

This fucking prick. Joseph thought as he slowly sank to his knees in front of Jack's opened legs. He made sure to keep his eyes locked on Jack's. He knew Jack liked that. Jack shifted a little, arching his back so he could see Joseph over the top of the birthday cake balanced on his hips.

Two can play at this game. Joseph made sure to slowly lick his lips, eyes still locked on Jack's, before blowing out the candle. He balanced himself by placing his arms on the bed around Jack's legs, his fingers toying with the waistband of the leather shorts Jack wore.

"Make a wish..." Jack muttered, his fingers moving to brush the sleeve of Joseph's jacket.

Joseph blew out the candle right after making his wish, smiling up at Jack.

"I didn't even...I never even told you my birthday." Joseph said.

"You wouldn't have to." Jack said. He sat up slowly to face Joseph better as he perched the cake on his knees instead. "Not a lot of people get the special birthday cook from the royal chef." Jack teased, sliding his finger over the white frosting. He brought the icing close to Joseph's lips. "Must be your special year." He finished as Joseph leaned forward and took his finger in his mouth, making sure to lick all the sugar icing off of it.

"Wow..." Joseph muttered as Jack pulled his finger back "That was really good."

"The icing...?" Jack teased, picking up the cake and moving it to the side table.

"Mm-hmmm." Joseph reached out and swiped some icing off the cake bringing it to his lips.

"Save some..." Jack snapped, grabbing Joseph's wrist and pulling him up a little for a kiss. Soon, their fingers were entangled together. Jack was lying down on the bed, with Joseph's knee in between his legs. Jack pulled his hand away from Joseph's moving to begin removing all the layers Joseph insisted on wearing.

Before Jack could even touch the grey jacket Joseph had grabbed his hands and pinned him over his head. A soft laugh escaped Jack's lips as he leaned forward to get another kiss out of Joseph.

"Can I get a lap dance?"

Jack's head dropped back on the mattress "I beg your pardon."

"A lap dance...I never had a lap dance on my birthday." Joseph grinned, cocking his head to the side like a puppy.

"You didn't get any friends in colleges who bought you lap dances?" Jack teased "What a shame."

"C'mon...Please?" Joseph playfully whined "It's my birthday."

"I figured the cake and the get-up would be enough." Jack groaned.

"No, c'mon. It's part of the get-up." Joseph whispered, leaning forward and kissing Jack lightly. He could almost feel the cogs turning in Jack's brain.

Jack let out a groan "Fine." He said pushing Joseph off him. Joseph laughed, kicking his shoes off and sitting back on his bed. Jack moved to the other side of the bed and switched on Joseph's computer to look for a good song.

"I knew I paid for a good view when I got this apartment." Joseph commented eyeing Jack's bent over form.

A cheesy pop song began blasting from his speakers. "Unbuckle your pants, Joey boy. They're about to get incredibly tight." Jack called turning to face Joseph.

Joseph reached for a nearby pillow and covered his face as he watched Jack move to the music with exaggerated stripper like movements. "This is painful!" he called, his voice breaking with laughter.

"Hard-ons generally are..." Jack answered taking off his cap and throwing it towards Joseph.

He picked up the hat, placed it on his head and continued watching Jack who then pulled of his sunglasses and tossed them on the bed as well.

"These boots are gonna be tricky." he said, placing one foot on the bed.

"Never mind then. Let's just skip to the part where we have sex." Joseph laughed, moving forward and pulling his jacket off.

"Sounds like a plan." Jack agreed pulling Joseph into a heated kiss, the thump thump of the club like song pulsing in the background.

"Keeps the boots on." Joseph purred into Jack's ear before nipping at it.

"Kinky." Jack smirked before pulling Joseph's legs from under him causing him to fall back on the bed.

A lap dance, sex and cake_. Best. Birthday. Ever._
