Wide of rally STORYLINE: Hundreds of Hamas supporters gathered on Friday in Gaza City for a rally in support of Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir. The rally was organised by Hamas following an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court for al-Bashir, who is wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Darfur conflict. Prominent Hamas official Mushir Al-Masri told the crowd that Hamas supports al-Bashir just as he had supported the Palestinian cause. Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum added that the movement supports al-Bashir's legitimacy and "the need to protect Sudan."
