Gail Moraton
October Member of the Month
Gail Moraton is known as the engine of the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter. She manages membership, welcomes new members, runs the registration table, updates meeting decks, and curates the LinkedIn page with helpful content and job leads. She even redesigned the chapter’s banner and produces an impressive annual conference program.
Gail also serves on the ACP National Board, where she brings the same energy and dedication. Her peers describe her as someone who embodies ACP’s values and truly cares, both professionally and personally.
- Professional Role: Business Resiliency Manager at the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety, where she creates continuity guidance for small and medium-sized businesses impacted by disasters.

- Developed customized BC guidance for a range of industries and disaster scenarios
- Helped organize all 3 GTBACP Annual Resilience Conferences
- Leading efforts to expand ACP’s reach by supporting new and revitalized chapters
- Ongoing mentor and advocate for inclusive, practical preparedness
Outside the Office:
Gail enjoys time with her growing family (including a second grandchild on the way!), cheering on the Rays and Dodgers, catching new movies weekly, and traveling back to Southern California whenever she can.
