This is the 50th anniversary for some of the Morris groups. The High Street will be closed to through traffic (except for immediate residents or business’s access) and vehicles including the bus service will be diverted around the village from about 11.00 am until 6.00 pm. The Morris teams are looking for volunteers to help manage the road closure outside The Bell and The Coach and Horses. It would involve diverting the traffic and ensuring that only essential vehicles are allowed through. The PC and Morris teams would welcome offers to help with this and also to put out diversion signs and collect them back afterwards. If you are free to help please email Laura on [email protected].
