LATAM has incorporated into its fleet a plane for each country with a special livery displaying the national flag, whether it be from Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, and in this photo, Ecuador. It was spectacular to see the "CPR" landing again with another livery change after a couple of years.
The "CPY" wearing the livery made in support of the Ecuadorian National Football Team and landing on runway 21 on a hot afternoon. In the background, the flags of Guayaquil and Ecuador can be seen, which adds detail to the photo.
Beautiful sunset as the only A319 operating for Avianca Ecuador was landing. The N741AV was arriving from Bogotá (SKBO) that afternoon.
Close-cropped front view of United Airlines Boeing 757-222 N508UA MSN 24744 about to dock at her Gate at Chicago O’Hare KORD on 05Aug2003. N508UA docked next to N510UA – my ride to KLAX that afternoon (a 3.7 hour flight). This aircraft wears the superceded ‘Battleship’ Dark blue/grey livery, which was hard to see at night. Low res photo taken at Chicago while returning home after EAA AirVenture 2003, during the 100th Anniversary year of the Wright Brothers First Flight.
