Career: Answered skeptics by returning from a 1998 knee injury in Dallas and will be asked to do it again with the Demons �. Returned to play in six games in 1999 after signing in November with the Cowboys �. One of Dallas� top performers on special teams and valuable as a reserve cornerback in 34 games overall �. Originally selected in sixth round as the 207th overall pick by Dallas in 1996 and played in 13 games as a rookie. 1999: Signed by the Cowboys in November after spending training camp with Washington and played on special teams in six of Dallas� final seven games �. Contributed six unassisted tackles among seven total stops covering kicks. 1998: Spent the entire season on injured reserve after a torn anterior cruciate in his right knee. 1996-97: Played in 28 games over those two seasons with a high of 15 contests in 1997 �. Activated off the practice squad early in the 1996 season and contributed as reserve cornerback and special teams stalwart for two seasons, starting only pro game against Arizona �. Wound up second on the squad during rookie season with 12 tackles on special teams and totaled 11 tackles in 1997, four as a reserve defender and seven on kicking downs.
