He was named on the bench for the first three National League fixtures before Harvey Randle joined.Louie was dual registered with Witton Albion, a move announced on 30 November 2024. However, he proved dependable through the core of the season. In 2023-24 he briefly lost his place before returning to the starting eleven but he became dependable rock in the defence to the extent that he assumed the captaincy following Isaac Marriott's injury in March 2024. He was rewarded for his performances in that role by being named as captain for 2024-25 season.Unfortunately injury sidelined him from halfway through the season's sixth fixture. He made 36(+10) league appearances for the Shaymen in 2023-24 season and picked up nine yellow cards.Golden had joined the Shaymen after being released by Salford City in 2022. Earlier, he had started out at Wigan Athletic from where Golden spent time on loan at Droylsden and Nantwich Town before being released in June 2020 and joining the Ammies in summer 2020.In February 2021 Golden joined Notts County on loan but that move was curtailed by injury in his debut game.Primarily a right-back, he can also play in the left-back berth. He is actually an Altrincham resident despite his career away from the town. No. 3 Eddy JONES (d.o.b. 25 October 2001) Eddy Jones, a left-back, rejoined Altrincham for a second loan spell from Stoke City on 2 September 2022. He went straight into the starting eleven at left-back on his "second coming" to the club and on 10 January 2023 it was announced that Eddy had signed on as an Altrincham player after leaving Stoke City.A virtual ever-present, Jones made the left-back berth his own in 2022-23, a pattern which continued into 2023-24. He was also ever-present in 2023-24 until injury briefly interrupted his season in late December 2023. Appearances to end of 2023/24 season: 105(+2), 3 goals .
No. 16 James JONES (d.o.b. 13 March 1997) James's return to Altrincham was unveiled on 28 July 2022 after he had rejected a contract renewal at Barrow. James first played as a trialist for Alty in July 2017 but, in August, decided to try his luck elsewhere. However, he returned to sign for Altrincham in time to make his competitive debut on 23 August 2017.Before joining Altrincham, James had spent three seasons with Welsh Premier club The New Saints, progressing from their Academy to first team. His first season at Alty was slightly curtailed by a hamstring injury shortly before the end of the campaign. But 2018-19 saw him establish himself as the regular partner for Tom Hannigan at the heart of the Altrincham defence. That season he was a virtual ever-present and started 2019-20, once more, as first choice in the right-sided centre-back role until illness briefly cost him his place in New Year 2020. However, what turned out to be an excellent 2019-20 season culminated in his decision to leave Altrincham for Barrow in the Football League, a decision announced on 19 July 2020. After starting eight of the first nine games of 2022-23, James lost his place to Jake Cooper but soon re-established himself as a regular starter. For 2023-24 he is the senior professional at the club and it was not surprising that on 22 July 2023 it was announced that James would be the team captain for the season. He started regularly at the start of 2023-24 before temporarily losing his place. Then an injury necessitated a shoulder operation in the Christmas season of 2023 and he missed the rest of the season.Out of contract in summer 2024, he was invited back to pre-season to prove his fitness and he was resigned as was announced on 9 July 2024 . No. 18 Owen GERMAN (d.o.b. TBC 5 September, 2005) A "deep-lying" midfielder, Owen made his debut for Altrincham in the Cheshire Senior Cup on 11 October 2022 at Sandbach. Despite only being seventeen at the time, he had already captained the Altrincham FC Academy side on occasions.Owen is a product of the Crewe Alexandra youth system, having spent more than a decade at Gresty Road before his release at the age of sixteen. In early 2023 he went on loan at Irlam in the North West Counties League Premier Division. In late April 2023 he was an unused sub for Altrincham in the Cheshire Senior Cup Final at Moss Lane.Despite not having made a league appearance, his promise was such that he was signed up for the first-team squad for 2023-24. However, on 27 July 2023, it was announced that Owen was going on a season-long loan to Wythenshawe Town. However, that arrangement was curtailed owing to injuries to other squad members. Consequently he was named in three Altrincham National League squads in October 2023 and also played in the CSC tie that month against 1874 Northwich in which he also converted a penalty in a shoot-out.On 20 October it was announced that he was commencing a one-month loan at Warrington Rylands in the Northern Premier League's Premier Division. That loan was extended to the end of 2023-24 season but on 2 February it was announced that he had gone on loan at Stafford Rangers. In summer 2024 he was granted a further contract and after being named in one matchday squad for the first team, he went on a one-month loan to Witton ALbion on 30 August 2024, which was later renewed in October 2024. No. 8 Isaac MARRIOTT (d.o.b. 11 October 1999) Central midfielder Isaac's signing from Bradford (Park Avenue) "for an undisclosed fee" was announced on Christmas Eve 2021. A former Huddersfield Town product, a club he joined as a nine year-old, he was loaned to Larne in Northern Ireland in January 2019 before joining the Bradford club on loan in 2019-20 season. He made 25 appearances for the West Yorkshire club that season before returning to Huddersfield. Before his spell in Northern Ireland with Larne, Isaac has also had loan spells at clubs which included Brighouse Town and Warrington Town.Following his release by Huddersfield Town in summer 2020, he returned to Yorkshire and signed for Bradford (Park Avenue) where he had made fifteen appearances in 2021-22 before signing for Phil Parkinson at Altrincham. At Bradford he also played as an attacking midfielder and was rewarded with several goals. However he completed ninety minutes just once in the first eight league fixtures of his Alty career, only actually appearing four times in that period. But once he had regained fitness he became an ever-present starter for the final sixteen games of the 2021-22 campaign.A pre-season injury in summer 2022 meant that Isaac missed the start of the 2022-23 season and it was league game 18 before he started a game, on 8 November 2022. However, he soon re-established himself as a key figure in the team and was rewarded with a two-year contract extension, announced at the end of March 2023.On 22 July 2023 it was announced that James would be the Altrincham team's vice-captain for the 2023-24 season. A serious ankle injury curtailed Isaac's appearances in March 2024 and a remedial operation ended his season prematurely as well as causing him to miss the opening weeks of the 2024-25 campaign. Appearances to end of 2023/24 season: 88(+4), 2 goals.

However, an injury sidelined him after his second appearance in September 2023 before he returned to action in late November and established himself as a regular starter until red-carded near the end of the season. He was re-contracted for an unstated period in summer 2024.
