I have been a fan of mr Robinson for a number of years. When I saw this disc I imediataly purchased it. I was not disapointed with the selection of songs and still listen to them. The songs have meaning and advice to be followed. The man is an artist when he sings.

One of my all time Smokey Robinson favourite albums. It appeared in 1987, at a time when I was going through a personal romantic crisis, & it seemed to encapsulate the events at the time, in my life. Every song is a winner, & I would be hard pushed for a favourite. I will always have a great fondness for this sublime album, from one of Soul music's great legends.

1987年のヒット作。R&Bチャートではアルバム1位、シングルの(1)も2位を獲得しました。そのシングル "Just To See Her" がとにかく死ぬ程好きで購入。何度聴いてもあきない名曲です。
80年代特有のFMシンセのきらきらした音が時代をかんじさせますが、じつは曲も歌唱もすばらしい内容。ほんとうにグレートなシンガーなんだとつくづくかんじさせられました。
近年、"Being With You" までのアルバムはリイシューされましたが、本作を含むそれ以降の諸作は手つかずのままです。是非、リマスターされた厚みのある音で聴いてみたい一枚です。
