How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Good selection of music. I bought it for Alana Davis' recording of "Can't Find My Way Home". This is the only place to find a recorded version as she didn't release it on any of her own albums. I really enjoy her take on this classic rock gem, as she interprets the song vastly different than any other artist I've heard record it. Without ruining the song, she makes not finding one's way home a celebration rather than a tragedy. Often an artist can go off in another direction and completely hijack the artist's original intent (see: Roberta Flack, "Killing Me Softly", then compare with the original Lori Lieberman, Fox/Gimbel composition for illustration). There are many fine cuts on this album though. I really enjoy the Curtis Mayfield cut too.

Yeah, that's right, I said it. This forgotten gem was probably the best soundtrack of the 90s. Understated brilliance. The tracks themselves provide a better story than the film did and taken as a whole form an effective collage of the characters and story elementals. You may not get a great sense of it on first listen but stay with it, the payoff is there. Or maybe you had to hear it while drinking shoplifted beer as a high school student in 1999.

Actually, The Breeders track here IS Kim and Kelley Deal from the Breeders. They recorded this cover version of Collage for the soundtrack. So Pixies and Breeders fans won't be disappointed. My stars rating here is for this song only, a welcom addition to any Deal collection.

I loved the CD for Busta, Alana, and that dynamic pairing of Lauryn Hill and the legendary Curtis Mayfield!! A couple of songs had turned me off. Who in their right mind gave Bjork a recording contract?? And also, could they have just left that song "Going Crazy" an instrumental?
