I had been trying to get a new copy of this album for several years and finally I found one. It is "Heavenly"!

I am a devoted Johnny Mathis fan and I am so glad to find this wonderful album again !! I had this as a 78 many years ago and played it over and over till I wore it out and bought another one. Over the years it eventually wore out also !! I have many wonderful memories of dancing to and listening to the fantastic "Mathis Sound" of Johnnys recordings.
Thanks for the memories and the opportunity to once again own my very own CD of "Heavenly" again Amazon. I am always so happy with all the music and movies I see on Amazon . Thanks for making it possible and affordable to shop with you.

What a feeling!
It's Heavenly.
Yes this CD is exactly that. Perhaps the ultimate Johnny Mathis make out album of all time. The CD brings the magic of the Mathis voice and mood to the ultimate height of easy listening mood changing experience. With arrangements by Glenn Osser and his euphoric violin accompaniment, Mathis never sounded better. Twelve cuts digitally improved sets the standard to judge any other singer's artistry.
There is nothing better then sitting back and listening to Heavenly.
You will thank me till the twelve of never for this recommendation.

Maybe his best my mom has all his LP'S in the basement back in INPLS IN so as a kid this is the kind of music we heard in 60/70's Go see him live and be blessed hey they don't make music like this no more. Also a great audiophile demo too.

This is my most favorite alchase!bum if his. It has songs that take me back to childhood when I used to borrow the old records from my parents, of course they weren't "old" to them.....I'm glad I finally found this on Amazon.com. I so happy with this purchase! If you love Johnny Mathis, You will definitely love this CD.

I used to listen to this years ago and just renewed my interest in listening to one of the best voices in the music business. No one sings a love song better than Johnny Mathis. He hits notes with such ease and has a way of phrasing unparalleled in the music business. I love every single song on this album and can highly recommend it to any Mathis fan.

Heavenly is a great title. I had forgotten jsut how smooth and beautiful Johnny's voice was back then. Great memories come back as I listen, I guess the only thing I would have liked to be different is to not have a Christmas song in with this group of songs. It just doesn't feel right. But I would highly reccomend this C/D

My Mother had the vynil album back in the 1960s and somehow I ended up with it shortly after. It has long disappeared and I remember that it was a gentle album of ballads with some wonderful arrangements. I hadn't heard it for many years but the melodies lingered on and I made this purchase knowing that listening to it again would transport me back to a different age when there were tunesmiths who knew how to create melody. This purchase is not only nostalgia run wild but also the opportunity to listen to an album which even so many years after its original release has lost none of its appeal. Timeless, indeed.

An excellent album with a good few songs not on other recordings,usually get 5-6 songs we all get on each album,tending to make you think your listening to the same each time.For this one,the majority are fresh.Worth buying.

私が初めて聴いたジョニーのフルアルバムがこの作品ですが、ほとんど持っているオリジナルＬＰの中でもこの作品がいちばん好きです。グレン・オサーのオーケストラとジョニーのヴェルベット・ヴォイスのコンビネーションが最高です。（このコンビで「Ballads of Broadway」もありますがこちらもおすすめです。）この「Heavenly』は１９５９年作ですが音の抜けが良いので今聴いても古臭く感じません。私は全曲好きですがベストトラックはやはりミスティでしょうか。 尚今はオリジナル・マスター盤は廃盤になりコロンビア盤に代わっています。

I have had this collection on cassette for many years also having had the vinyl original Ride On A Rainbow. The opportunity to upgrade to CD was welcomed.
This is Johnny Mathis at his very best. Amongst the material which masquerades as 'music' nowadays, this is a very welcome breath of fresh air. I would recommend it to anyone.

Don't need to say too much more that the album is brilliant! If you know the singer you'll understand where I'm coming from.....if you don't yet know the man it's long ast time you did. Please buy and enjoy!
