Ok before you freak out with my title, just hear me out. The Chronic was and will always be a classic and taught us all how to blow tress but this album is out of this world. I've never been a huge Game fan but I always respected him and enjoyed a lot of his songs. The production on the album is near perfect. Hard gangster beats accompany Game's hungry and raspy voice. His lyricism is better than anything Dr. Dre has had ghost written for him. The Doc is still an absolute icon so don't get me wrong. After TDE's strong come up on the west, I was convinced that everyone else was pretty much done. Wow, was I mistaken. Crooked I is one of the best lyricist I've ever heard period. And Game? He absolutely murdered this entire album and the features are perfectly placed with the beat they should be paired with. I did not think I would be able to stop listening to Good Kid Madd City but after hearing Ali Bomaye! I knew gangster rap was back and very much alive. Thank You Game for this unappreciated classic that will be looked upon in the future as a TRUE CLASSIC! XXL! I really don't think people get how awesome this album is and it saddens me. OH and I almost forgot, the Kevin Hart skits are hilarious! Buy this album right now and thank me or Game later. Peace and IM OUT! ALI BOMAYE!

*Please Note That My Review Includes Songs From The Best Buy Deluxe Version And The Itunes Bonus*

Game's 5th Album Is Called What? And The Cover Is What? Honestly, I Expected This Album To Be Wack, There Are Way Too Many Features And From The Title You Would Think Game Went Ma$e On Us, But Thats Not The Case. Jesus Piece Is A Reference 2 Game's Jewelry (Which Also Now Has Its Own Chain). The Album Does "Flirt" With The Idea Of Being A Spiritual Concept Album At Times But Thats Not ALL It Is. From "Scared Now" To "Jesus Piece" Is A Straight Run 3 Different Tracks But All Quality. The Next 3 Tracks Get Skipped And We Get Back 2 The Program On "Heaven's Arms". The Next Couple Of Songs Are The Meat And Potatoes Of The Album. Game And Pusha T Blend Well On "Name Me King". Same Thing With Game And Kendrick Lamar On "See No Evil". "Cant Get Right" And "Hallelujah" Give You A Church Feel. The Latter Is The Best Song On The Album Hands Down. Producer Jake One Gives Game Similar Elements To His Work On Rick Ross's "3 Kings" With Beautiful Effects. "Freedom" Confirms That Game Is Joining Cash Money. "Celebration" Is A Remake Of Bone Thugs "1st Of The Month" And Is Kinda Strange Since Im A Fan Of The Original. "I Remember" Is Game In Autotune With Future?...Very Annoying...SKIP! "Blood Diamonds", "Blood Of Christ", And "Holy Water" Are Dope. The Itunes Bonus "Dead People" Is Such An Over Used Concept Thats Its Not Really Enjoyable And The Beat Isnt Really Anything Special. Whats Sad Is That "Dead People" Is A Dr.Dre Track Smh. With That Being Said The Album Is Dope. Glad I Brought It.

Best Tracks: Ali Bomaye, Jesus Piece, Name Me King, See No Evil, Cant Get Right, Hallelujah, Blood Diamonds, Blood Of Christ

Solid album from beginning to end. Church is probably the best cut on the album, pure banger with club like instrumentals that can bang in the club, and Trey Songs puts the special sauce on the song to take it to the next level. First time hearing King Chip who is from my hometown Cleveland and I can tell his flow is tight. Celebration is defintely tight and since I am from Cleveland I appreciate the nod to BTH. The only thing is the remix should have been on the album, the version with BTH is much better. Followed by Hallelujah which has an interesting message just like Church and a beat that is off the chain mixed with all kinds of genres, Game is tight on this one. Freedom brings another soulful beat that keeps the head nodding. All in all every track is way above average and this is one you can listen all the way through. Definitely one of Game's best, he stays with the theme throughout and this shows a completely different side from the rapper .

This is the 5th studio album by Game, released in December 2012, featuring 15 songs at 71:34 minutes in length. It is another great album by Game, with many features such as Meek Mill and 2 Chainz. The album focuses on gangster Christianity, so the theme is consistent throughout the album...which is why it’s 5-star. Game and company seem focused throughout this album and it comes through like fire and hot water, blazin’! I recommend this album for anybody seeking some excellent California rap...plus, not to mention, Game is a legend.

First off, this album starts off great as do all Game albums. The beats are great as always, Game never disappoints when it comes to the production. The lyrics are up to par, but if you listen closely Game is not being his usual self, as you keep listening to the album, it occurred to me/ others that he used the same rhyme scheme and delivery as the featured artist on every song. Honestly, this album should have been renamed "Jesus Piece" by Game and friends because 95% of every song got a featured artist on there, in which takes away from the album significantly. The subject matter was great but I think Game could have done much better because he is such an awesome rapper and he doesn't need to be mimicking other rappers. I shall concur, the album is done and that final. That is why I give this album 3 out 5.

I have heard a lot of The Games songs. Owned a couple of songs and cd's. I consider Jesus Piece as his best one to date. This album is unique. I cannot put it down. Every song is great in my opinion. There is no filler here and ever song has some of the best artist that is hot right now. There is not many CD''s that I can listen to all the way through. With that being said, all I can say is buy it. You will not regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jayceon Taylor Is Back Again!

Reviewed in Germany on December 11, 2012

Auf ,,Jesus Piece'' gehören Ali Bomaye ( übersetzt „Ali, töte ihn!“ ), Jesus Piece, und See No Evil dazu.

Thanks Mr Taylor for the great album!
