great live album that meshes covers and original music from across the CC spectrum. You hear traces (echoes) of their art from before August and Everything After up to today. This album has all the energy of the Across a Wire (Live in New York) album but incorporates a much broader range of work.
Echoes is a terrific add to a well-rounded cd collection.

As a long time Counting Crows fan, I'm quite happy to have anything that I don't already have by them. I thought the tracks were good, the packaging was good, and overall I'm satisfied. I am ready for some new tracks! Adam keeps posting that they are in studio...the date cant come fast enough!

Counting Crows are my favorite band and I particularly love them live. This CD didn't really bring anything new to the table though, even in terms of music arrangement or vocal delivery. (note: there are differences from regular performances but nothing strikingly so).
That being said, everything is still 'good' on the album and there's two types of people I think should definitely buy it.
1. People who like Counting Crows and aren't real familiar with their live stuff, cover songs, and re-worked songs.
2. Diehard Counting Crows fans.
So listen to the previews and see if you like what you hear. I predict that this won't be getting as much play from me as Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings OR Underwater Sunshine.

The Counting Crows are the best studio & live band of the past 23 years!!! They have helped me my entire 20 year NAVY career!! Lot's of sea time under my belt with these boys playing in the back ground to keep me moving!!

this band always delivers whether you are listening to them at home or are lucky enough to catch them live. I enjoy the fact that you can tell its live because they don't sing the songs word for word. enjoy this cd.. I sure did

I can't stop listening to this CD. Counting Crows do a great live show and this capture of one of them is GOLDEN. I think of Adam Duritz as a "free range" singer; he makes each song sound new every time.

The best band around. I love their songs an wish I could see them in concert. This cd comes very close. I wish it could have been a double cd. I just put it in the player and sing a long.

This is a live album that captures the band at their best and its a great example of what makes the Counting Crows so good

I absolutely love the Crows I have seen this magnificent band 10 times, I have travelled all over the country to see them.

Mal wieder ein Beweis dafür ,dass die Counting Crows Vollblutmusiker sind.
Aus meiner Sicht gehõrt die Band zu den Top 5 der sogenannten 90er Jahre Rockbands und ist live meine absolute Nr.1.
Adam Duritz Stimme ist einfach einzigartig .

Da amante dei Counting Crows ho trovato questo live piacevole ma molto diverso dal loro altro live "New Amsterdam-Live at Heineken Music Hall" che è fino ad ora è il mio preferito. lo consiglio agli appassionati del genere.

なんか、唐突に発表された感のあるカウンティング・クロウズのライブ。デビュー10周年にて、傑作デビュー作“August & Everything After”全曲再演ライブ（BD+CD）からカバー作の前作と来て、またライブ盤とは思いませんでしたが、やはり素晴らしいライブです。セットリストは以下の通り。

最初と最後にディランのカバーをアコースティックスタイルでしっとりと聞かせつつ、先述のカバー作を含めた全アルバムから万遍なく選曲された全15曲。とはいえ、なんか微妙な選曲で（笑）、耳を引くのはやはり（2）（12）であり、他にもっと曲あるだろうって、なぜにこのリストなんだという気がしないでもないですが、同じセットのライブを演る人達ではないので、あくまで自然体の今を提示しただけ、ということなんだろうね。とはいえ、そろそろオリジナル作を聞きたいだけど、どうですか？

Schöne Mischung altbekannter Nummern und weniger populären Stücken. Das dann auch noch in neuen Versionen. Hat es verdient, daß man reinhört!
