50 Shades of Grey Fan
I always like to own the CD's if its a particular soundtrack I happen to like. Just so that I can play it just for me. I enjoyed the music from the movie and lost the one I had before. Glad I ordered it. Came early than expected. Came intact no scratches on the case. Brand new.

This is the first physical album I've bought in years. I like to buy physical CDs if an album is really good, otherwise I prefer digital as I don't have the space to store them.
For me, half of this album felt like Top 10 pop singles. There is a lot of great music on here. There is a tone of slow, brooding, romance throughout, and fits the 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' film perfectly.
My personal selection of favorites:
(1) I Put A Spell On You - Annie Lennox, a spellbinding new cover of a great song and under-appreciated.
(3) Earned It - The Weeknd, a beautiful and haunting song by The Weeknd; I stopped counting how many times I've listened to this.
(5) Love Me Like You Do - Ellie Goulding, another sultry number from Ellie.
(6) Haunted - Beyonce, there is just something haunting about this song.
(10) Crazy In Love - Beyonce, it took a few listens to like this version, starts off well and I think she was trying too hard, but this cover of her own song is still good.
(11) Witchcraft - Frank Sinatra, a classic that I didn't have before but I do now.
An added bonus to your purchase is you get the Amazon Music mp3 tracks that can be downloaded on your computer or phone.
Give it a listen. Ignore any pre-conceived opinions about the story if you haven't read the books/seen the movie; this album should be judged on its own merits. Highly recommended!

I love the music on this soundtrack. And really ... to all the folks who make your negative comments about the photos on the packaging and knock the flick .... If you knew what the storyline was about, you have no standing to smack it down and be so critical and mean. And it's a SOUNDTRACK. The photo was taken right from a scene in the flick. Get over yourselves. I honestly had no expectations about this movie ... just had free HBO one weekend and it was on so I watched it out of curiosity to see what all the hype was about. Was it a bit hokey and unbelievable? Sure. But I think the actors did a great job with the story they were given. And I think the soundtrack is great and I think I'm gonna buy the classical music version as well.

One of the best soundtracks in a while. I love the mix of the classic songs, as well as the originals for so many great, many largely unknown artists who are finally getting some well-deserved attention. I am not a huge Beyonce fan, but the other songs were great and, not having seen the movie yet, but re-reading the books, fits the mood perfectly. Can't wait to see the movie and see how the movie is incorporated. Even if the movie doesn't live up to expectations, the soundtrack will remain a big standout for the whole series.

I love the mix of music on this soundtrack and this is why I enjoy purchasing soundtracks in general. It's easy to enjoy a particular song of an artist, but maybe not like the rest of their music so purchasing a soundtrack introduces you to a song without committing to an artist's entire CD. On the other hand, because it introduces you to a song of an artist, you may end up checking out the rest of their music.
I got introduced to The Weekend via this soundtrack and would buy the band's entire album after listening to the samples on Amazon. Also, Annie Lennox is a classic and her rendition of "I Put a Spell on You" is incredible and is one of the best versions I've heard. The sweet sound of Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" is one I play over and over again. And Beyonce's remix of "Crazy in Love" is almost eerie, but in a good way that draws you in. Lastly, Danny Elfman's instrumentals at the end were a nice surprise. All in all, it's a great mix and a favorite to play repeatedly in my car's CD player.

Didn't really like the movie..... but the soundtrack is amazing....especially the song, "Love Me Like You Do"....which is filled with stimulating energy and passion !! My first CD cracked and I ordered this one to replace it...great music for driving in the car.....you won't be disappointed !!

Ich wusste ja bereits vorher, welche Songs auf dem Soundtrack zu hören sein werden und nun, da ich ihn endlich in den Händen halten und in Dauerschleife hören kann, kann ich nur sagen, selten von einem Soundtrack so überzeugt gewesen. Nicht nur weil ich wirklich ein wahnsinniger Fan von Fifty Shades of Grey bin, sondern auch, weil er genauso von Leuten gehört werden kann/könnte, die nicht mit dem ganzen "Thema" vertraut sind. Von leisen bis etwas lauteren Popsongs, über Swing vom legendären Frank Sinatra...einfach nur Daumen hoch!!! Ich liebe den Elli Goulding Song - Love me like you do...er passt perfekt...Beyoncé hat großartige "Mix-Arbeit" geleistet und ihre tollen Songs auf den Film abgestimmt....Sia ist einfach spitze...und für mich zunächst unbekannt: AWOLNATION mit "I'm on fire".....das hab ich ebenfalls auf Dauer-Repeat :) Also wirklich....es lohnt sich..auch im digitalen Zeitalter & ich kaufe kaum noch CD's, aber diesen O.S.T., musste ich dann doch in den Händen halten <3
